 National Textile Standards and Consumables Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center"), attached to CTTC of Genertec CTA, has been committed to the R&D of textile reference materials for many years. Based on the rich standardization resources of CTTC, the center has undertaken several research replication projects of reference materials as national standards and group standards. It is the drafter of textile general method standards and the supplier of textile reference materials. The center is mainly responsible for research, development, management, supply and consultation of textile reference materials and test consumables; and provides authoritative, reliable, comprehensive and professional textile reference materials for a long time to ensure the correct implementation of standard test methods, and the accuracy and comparability of test data.

The products developed and supplied by the center mainly involve the color fastness tests of textiles (single fiber/multi-fiber adjacent fabrics, cotton rubbing cloth, blue wool references, grey scale, flaked soap, etc.), washing dimensional stability tests (detergent, ballasts, etc.), abrasion pilling tests (wool abradant, felt, foam, etc.), phenolic yellowing test (test paper, control fabric, film, glass plates, etc.), fabric appearance performance (various types of photographic rating standards), antibacterial test, thermal resistance and water-vapour resistance test, etc.

National Textile Standards and Consumables Center has undertaken a dozen research and reproduction work of national standard samples and group standard samples, and has obtained many certificates of national standard samples (GSB) and group standard samples  (CNTAC); the five national standard samples developed by the center, such as textile antibacterial control fabrics, won the second prize of the Science and Technology Advancement Award issued by China National Textile and Apparel Council in 2021. At present, the center provides services to more than 400 enterprises, including textile manufacturers, third-party textile testing organizations, research institutes, and supervision departments such as quality control institutes.

 Meanwhile the center also provides consumables from well-known foreign brands, such as SDC, Testfabrics, AATCC, James Heal and so on. The products sold cover many domestic and foreign standards such as ISO, GB, FZ, AATCC, EN, BS, JIS, etc., which can meet the various testing needs of laboratories.
