Introduction to Standardization Services:
CTTC is responsible for the textiles standardization work, and undertakes the secretariats of SAC/TC209 (National Standardization Technical Committee on Textiles), SAC/TC209/SC1 (Subcommittee on Base and Test Methods), SAC/TC209/SC4 (Subcommittee on Bast Fiber Textiles) and SAC/TC209/SC7 (Subcommittee on Industrial Textiles). Meanwhile, CTTC also undertakes China Technical Mirror Committee to ISO/TC38 (Technical Committee on Textiles), as well as the secretariats of ISO/TC38/SC2 and ISO/TC38/SC23.
CTTC is in charge of developing and revising the national standards and industry standards for textiles, and the review of standards. CTTC has been carrying out research on textile standards and testing technologies, promoting textile standards in the industry, and providing customers with consulting services on various textile standards and testing technologies. At the same time, it is responsible for voting on documents at all stages of the process of developing and revising international standards for textiles, and undertaking or participating in developing and revising standards in ISO/TC38.
CTTC closely tracks the development of standardization, and timely obtained the highlighted information in the international and domestic textile fields, developing cutting-edge projects and transforming into standard achievements . And over the years, CTTC has successfully accomplished several National Quality Inspection Public Welfare Projects in Textile Industry, which played a great role in actively guiding textile exports, improving textiles quality and protecting the interests of consumers.
